Congrats Rbethell11, I'm with envy. Was paying around a little over $20 just a year or so ago. Hope we get to see those days again!

1-2 dollars over spot is a great deal!

I got a 1992-p 1/10 oz gold eagle proof from a coin show yesterday for 175, which I thought was a great deal, but thats like 20$ over spot lol

But seriously, it seems like coin dealers are much more willing to work with the younger generation who show a good amount of interest.

I am not a coin dealer, but am a dealer in another hobby of mine. I find it so very easy to give some great deals to younger, interested people. The other dealers and I often talk about this and it seems pretty common.

I am 25 and the coin shop around me usually gives me the exact same deal as the next jo smo. I even gave him advice on the last recent silver drop. He said thanks, but didn;t adjust the price

Nothing wrong with a shot of PJ now and then... especially when warmed with a bit of vodka. Get 2 birds with 1 stone that way!

vodka + oj = screwdriver
vodka + milk of magnesia = phillips screwdriver
vodka + prune juice = piledriver

Little screw driver history, workers in Arabia or some where real hot on an oil rig, and they used their screw drivers to stir their vodka an oj....

Phillips screw driver or the ol prune driver has yet to be request by any of my pa-trends, but I did have some mid twenties fellows tonight drinkin a rusty nail, and I had to tilt my head a bit on that one, lol...

So... for the benefit of those of us less knowledgeable in the mixologist's art, just what is a "rusty nail"?
