A box of nickels is $100. I believe (I have never searched one) that a box of pennies is $25. I just call a bank ahead of time to make sure they have a box and that they know I am coming.

Ahh yes the Liberty. I got that quite a few boxes ago and have been hoping for another ever since. I imagine it is only a matter of time before the next one rears her head!

Nice! I'm 1/2 way through a box and have only one hole filler (1950) some other 5x's so far and a 2005 Canadian. Oh and someone hammered a penny so flat that it had the same diameter as a nickel and ended up in a roll. Hopefully things pick up. :)

Ancient, black beauties are 1959. Dont think it was any other years.

Anyway, got 40 bucks in Brinks rolls. After all I went through to find high grade 42 and 42 D, I find a 42 today. NOT high grade though. The rest:

1939
1940
1952D
1953
1958
1958D x 2
1959
And 3 AU+ 1960D,1966, and 1968D

Not bad for 20 rolls.

When finally going through that box of nickels we bought, my eldest daughter found our first War Nickel (1943 P) today. :-)

Also found 2 1942 pre-war planchet nickels and a handfull of other pre-1960s.

Still have 1/3 of the box to go through. I can't wait :-)

I am moving! Well, I'm not but my updates are!

From now on I will be posting my updates in the same format as above in the other thread. I figure it will just be easier on everyone to have just one nickel thread. Thanks for following...Mods you may lock this one up now.
