Good morning. The night crew reversed their trend, put silver in the ~$60 zone. Now the morning crew wants it in the ~$61 zone.

Silver is still tied at the hip to the movement of stocks and equities. We have a Green Day on Wall Street so fortunately Silver has a tail wind and is up to $61 today. But had we gotten a 3rd Red Day in a row for stocks Silver would be at $58 right now. And that is something I would have put my money on. Yesterday's low was $58.73 and that's what ya gotta pay close attention to moving forward.

So what you want to see for Monday is a continuation of today's price action. Monday seems like a long way from here.
The pitfall for Monday would be that today was nothing more than the metaphorical 'stretching of the rubber band' up to $61 followed by the inevitable 'retraction of the rubber band' back below $60 on Monday.

Well, we started the week in ~$61 and we are ending the week in ~$61, but I would not be shocked if we sink a little over the weekend. I do not know much, but I know we are going to be getting plenty of rain from Isaias this weekend. Maybe that will keep some of the shenanigans offline. Until Monday.

Good morning! It is a new week and despite a slight slide, silver is still simmering in the top end of the ~$60 zone.

The chart tilts downward, but otherwise a boring bank holiday with silver still chopping in the ~$60 zone.

Some actual "chop" would actually have been good to see instead of the slow and steady bleed we saw for exactly 20 hour's straight from Sunday night until the close on Monday afternoon. The opposite of what we wanted to see today. But things will start to get exciting soon.

Currently $59.95 after a cascade down to 59.87 Prior swing low was $59.81 last night at around 10 PM There's one other number to look out for but I'll remind you of that if or when it ever gets hit. I'll ring a bell or something.

Unfortunately the risk reward wasn't great enough for me to put my money on this in the options market. Silver is moving too slow, volatility is down. To be profitable playing SLV short term to the downside with Puts, you need a big, fast, sudden drop in price. This slow, sideways, bleed, down a dollar or 2, over a week just eats away your profit as the value of the options decay quicker over time with low volatility. But the signal was given to those that could see it. They make different charts for different reasons. Graphs just tell you the price now, and before. Candle stick charts tell you that plus where the buyer's and seller's are. Different time frames give you the price ranges. Ranges change. Last week the range shifted lower. If you charted it then you noticed the shift lower. When was the last time you saw $62? Why did we start seeing $58? Of course it can change again. And it definitely will. Forget about beliefs Just stick to the math, the stats, the economics, and the charts, and it becomes a whole different ball game.
