Interesting Blank Planchet - Coin Community Forum

jedichef Pillar of the Community United States 781 Posts	Posted 10/21/2011 3:38 pm picked up this planchet this week. my brother found it at work, in the till. it's 13.2 grams, ~32mm in diameter. does not appear to be silver, also, no visible copper core, looks to be nickel, not magnetic. thicker than half dollar by about half a millimeter. any ideas what this might have been intended for?
