Poll Question
For those interested in the 25th Anniversary American Eagle 5 Coin Set.

What-Will-You-Do-With-This-Set-?

This poll is about what you plan to do with the Set.
Several answers may apply, but that's okay.

Poll Choices
I collect ASE's, so this one is a MUST !
I collect ASE's, but I'm not getting this Set
I'm going to get just ONE Set
I'm going to get TWO Sets
I'm going to get THREE Sets
I'm going to get FOUR Sets
I will order FIVE of these Sets
I want more than one, to make some money selling them
I will send mine off for grading/slabbing
I will NOT send mine off for grading/slabbing
Scrambled Eggs with Ketchup is delicious !
 I can't afford it, if it's over $300.00
 I can't afford it, if it's over $350.00
I expect modest premiums over issue price in the future
I expect HUGE premiums over issue price in the future

I'm seriously considering, (If I'm lucky enough to get them), getting two Sets.
But, unusual for me, I'm thinking of sending my 2nd one off to be graded.
Then, whatever "selling profits" there are to be made in the future, it would be maximized, at least.

What are the chances that ALL FIVE COINS WOULD COME BACK A PERFECT MS/PR-70 ? ....
Next to impossible I suppose.....but THAT would be pretty amazing !

What's everyone else going to do with their Set(s) ?
Will you all have them graded or keep them "raw" in the Mint case ?
Curious......

I am seriously thinking about getting once set.

I do not collect the ASE. I have only one, it is in my 7070.

However, this set would definitely be a key to the series if I ever decided to build an ASE set.

Even if I do not start a full ASE set, I still think this will be a nice one to have.

And if I know you......you'd have NO PROBLEM busting those 5 raw ASE's right out of their O.G.P. and putting them into a future ASE album ~~~~~or perhaps your son may do this someday ! ~~~~~~

Man ! ...... I would have to think long and hard as to whether or not I could ever "bust" this Set !
Even sending it off to be graded (busted out basically) and them coming back in "slabs", "bothers me" ! .....

I'm going to attempt to get two sets. However, some others apply too:

I collect ASE's so this one is a must.
I'm going to send one off to get graded (also unusual for me, a first in fact)
I think there will be modest gains.

Looking very much forward to it! I think I'll crack out my 20th Anniversary set tonight just to admire it.

Way too many choices in the poll...I could pick 5 choices (not eggs) and they would all be appropriate to the issue

I've been eating scrambled eggs with ketchup for 50 years.

I'm getting 5, one to keep (raw in its OG package) and 4 for resale.

I have enjoyed ketchup on my scrambled eggs since I was a child ! ....
I'm 43, so probably almost 40 years of eatin' this for "me" !
My wife thinks this is DISGUSTING ! ...

Yes, I know, I did mention that more than one answer would apply.
You can list an explain/discuss what your plans are for the Set(s).
The "issue" is basically discussion about this Set, and what you are or aren't going to do with it.
Not guessing the price or whatever.
Just a "fun" poll where you pick the best answer, not the "only" answer that applies....then we talk about that, plus, the other ones you could've picked as well if you like. (like other posters have done)
Nobody will be graded for discussing multiple scenarios or answers ! ...
Just fun and light-hearted .....

If I'm so lucky to snag two......I hope to keep one in my collection forever more.
And I'm wondering if I'll slab BOTH of them, or just one....can't decide ! ...
I like the idea of keeping it all intact & "original" in the O.G.P. though too.........it's a toughie for me.

But a perfect 70 Reverse Proof "would" sound purty sweet !
And I would have two chances at it were I to send off both of them.

Arrgh! Still no price as of today, so scrambled eggs with ketchup got my vote. Can't tell how many sets I'm going to buy, more than one depends on the price the mint is going to pick. Here's hoping silver stays around $31-$32/oz. at least for the next week so the final price will be $229.95!

On a side note, it's also the 25th Anniversary of the AGE, and interesting there isn't going to an anniversary set for that coin?I'd take the 2006 RP 1oz AGE over the 2009 UHR anyday. Has anybody even seen the gold RP?

100,000 each for the two unique coins: the 2011 reverse proof and the San Francisco uncirculated IF it has a mintmark. The 2006 reverse proof had a maximum mintage of 250,000.

I chose Scrambled Eggs with Ketchup because I know essentially nothing about ASE's...

Apparently I also know nothing about scrambled eggs and ketchup, either, because I really didn't think about that too much before I picked it..

It sounds gross! lol

I intend to get as many as I possibly can. 5 here at home, 5 at my beach house, 5 sent to dads house, 5 at work, and 5 at the wife's store. It worked for the Lincoln sets, maybe it will work for these.
