This blank was found in a $50 bag of loose cents that was bought in 1981. Every cent in the bag was dated 1981 or older. It weighs 3.1 grams. I just love the toning on it and the condition is great :-) .

Sorry it is at an angle but it was the only way to show off the toning.

That looks like a type 1 without an upset rim, which is much less common than a type 2.

Yes, you are right, no upset rim. I wish I could get the rainbow tone effect to show in the pic better, it is really neat. Do toned blanks bring more than "plain" ones?
