Metalman Pillar of the Community United States 7123 Posts	Posted 12/27/2006 1:01 pm The first nickel Looks like Strike Doubling to me,, even though the seller mentions wexler in His description I would be cautious about attribution from those pics, Amac your nickel is deterioration doubling very common on the Jeffersons from the 60's. coppercoins Pillar of the Community United States 7629 Posts	Posted 12/27/2006 7:15 pm The ebay auction shows a class 2, distorted hub tripled nickel. It is a doubled die. It also shows some Die Deterioration Doubling on the bottoms of the letters. The other nickel is just Die Deterioration Doubling. Report this Post to the Staff

I HAVE SEVERAL NICKELS WITH THESE LINES ALL OVER THE LETTERING ON BOTH THE OBVERSE & REVERSE AND THE DATES ALSO WHAT IS THIS CALLED? Report this Post to the Staff
