Hello good coinfolk: kindly have a look at this recently acquired Half Cent and tell me what you think.
I cracked it out of an old ANACS slab; it was graded 'EF40-details (corroded)' but I do not see any serious eating away of the surface, just some lightly imbedded dirt. Photo is best I can do with the camera I have.
It's a 7070 hole filler, slightly less quality than I am aiming for, but for $50, it seemed like a good buy.
Thanks a heap!

There might be a little bit of corrosion but it could very well be dirt. The coin probably has been cleaned and has since retoned. The details grade looks accurate maybe a tad conservative. For $50, I think you did good!

I agree with D0ubl3Eagle. It seems like the coin's been cleaned and retuned, but overall, good buy!
