This was in a bag of 150 world coins I picked up today. I really don't know anything about error coins but this one does look a bit strange.

Hmm, I don't think it's a mint error - looks more like post-mint damage to me.

The grey colouring in the protected areas is odd. These are supposed to be bronze coins. Perhaps someone plated/painted it silvery colour to pass as a higher denomination coin? Or maybe it was part of a piece of budget jewellery - that might also explain the rim damage, if it was mounted somehow.
