Nova New Member Canada 31 Posts	Posted 01/06/2012 08:31 am I was going through my coins today looking at what I could sell off as bullion and found a couple ok finds. 1 pic has a couple die cracks but is in good shape at best. The second one is much better in my opinion however I'm not sure what you would call it? So looking for the name of the error and perhaps a grade/value that could be associated to it would be appreciated. biokemist6 Bedrock of the Community United States 12437 Posts	Posted 01/06/2012 11:31 am Die cracks are common while a titled partial collar strike is a decent error to find I really have no idea on value for a Canadian coin, it is certainly not an extreme rarity but you don't exactly find them in pocket change everyday either. For error coins, the grade is often of secondary importance to the error. From your photo it appears to be circulated. The details are blown out in the image making it harder to grade - I'll guess EF at best. biokemist6's valuation of $10 to $20 sounds right. Report this Post to the Staff
