Found this old 1962 penny in my change today....Look at the denticles on the left side of this coin.

What could cause this..
Appreciate any help...!

are you talking about the ones on the left being wider than ones on the right? that's probably just a misaligned die.

Coins with a misaligned die don't usually have a premium unless part of the design is missing.

Oh, I knew it wouldn't be valuable, but was wondering what caused it Fuzzy317...I will keep it anyway as a "misaligned die" specimen.
