I don't see much love for the toonie on these boards but I really like the one in this set.

I got one of those sets to, can't wait to get home from college and see it for myself.

People on ebay are asking for crazy prices for those pennies 650$ each I saw today.

Whenever I see a crazy listing like that, it always seems to be the same little_seller from Friendly, but_not_so_fun, Manitoba. I have no idea why she thinks her_stuff is so valuable.

But the 2012 fine silver 1 cent has sold for between 83 and 127.50 in the past week. Pretty good for a little penny.

Like the $14.99 new 2012 steel toonie or the even more rare and valuable "no edge engraving variety" 2012 toonie for $27.99!!

Just a couple more examples of many I have noted.

I never understand why anyone would pay a boatload more money for identical items that are listed for much cheaper, but I guess if you are a seller, it only takes one or two!
