No old style loonies yet - if anyone found one in circulation then what part of the country?

I'm thinking it's time to hit the flea markets...

I was told that there was only one type of 2013 Loonie and one type of Toonie. The new one. In 2012 the old style was phased out.

You can get the old style loonie in this set:

http://www.mint.ca/store/coin/speci...-prod1680042I was shocked when I noticed it. Probabbly minted last year pre-new coin release perhaps?

Specimen sets in 2012 and 2013 will have nickel toonies available.
The finish is completely different from the circulation old style toonies.

The old non security loonie and toonies are found in o Canada sets and a few 19.99 sets, but if someone has better connections with the RCM and get an answer of how many of these coins were distributed, then we will know if they are rare or not.

last year I luck out in finding a old loonie in my change and have put it away also have a unc set off that year Another topic is the 2016 unc set error with the 2015 loonie in it that from what I found that they are in different order, I luck out in getting one from a local post office in mar, mine has a number around 05800 I have to check my set to see what the exact number is, a normal 2016 set is over 8500. Another thing I as checking out some 2012 cents I got in a unc roll and notice some doubling on the date Canada, and on the obv the I in regina looks wierd, on these coins but when you look at it from looking at the word Regina not so great. What about quarters with little or no reeding on them. Or what are the olds of a forigein blank be struck with a cdn design.
