Found this one yesterday. How can I tell if it is a PL or a SP? Also what grade would you give it? It has a nice cameo on it. Is that a normal shoulder fold? Hair by neck looks odd to me. It also has a decent die clash around the bust. Thanks all, John1

John, why do you think it is PL or SP, from my eyes I think it is a normal business strike in AU.

Nice looking hanging 3

Because of the cameo.

There are cameo circulation strikes.

Hey--John1--
I'm not sure why the questions but questions they are?
---So starting with (PL) it means "proof like" and (SP) is "specimen" both of witch would be as nearest to perfect condition.
---This penny is not and at best (Au) because it has luster, but has nicks that stand out on her face that count against a better grade, IMO.
---It doesn't look like a cameo if it were it would clearly seen, also on the Maple leafs and have contrasting dull look on a shinny backdrop, so not IMO. At least with presented pictures but pretty sure.
---The hair looks normal and that is a normal shoulder fold as I see it.
---I don't see a die clash around the bust but I do see one clearly hagging on the three.
---Nice hagging 3!
