What retail stores sell coin albums. I would like to get some but don't know were to go to get one. I don't think I've ever seen them in a store before and don't know were to go to get one.

Thanks.

I have seen some at book stores in shopping malls. It will probably be limited brands, and they may not have all versions of albums.

If stores have any they will probably just be cheap folders. Have you checked yelp or anything to see if there are any coin stores in your area? Those would be your best bet. And are you opposed to shopping online? That's where I get all of mine and they end up cheaper as well.

Online is the best not only are they usually a little cheaper but the selection is so large you can almost always get exactly what you want. I really like the capital plastic display holders for smaller sets and type sets myself

Check Google for a coin show in your area. Usually someone at those sells books, Albums, Folders, etc. Normally cheaper than stores or on line places. And no postage.
Also, look up coin stores. They too normally have a decent variety.
There have been several places on line mentioned on this forum for all coin collecting products too. One I see a lot is Wizard Coin Supply.
In some areas hobby stores carry them also. Never been to one but people have been saying a place called Hobby Lobby carries coin collecting items.

And wizard coin supply is where I get my albums. They have by far the cheapest in my experience. Although I've never been to a coin show, but wizard coin supply was way cheaper than my local coin shops. There is shipping costs but if you buy a couple albums then it is worth it.

Brooklyn Coins has some pretty good prices on Dansco Albums
The discount about everything, great place to buy all coin
collecting supplies.
And once in a while I can pick up a good used Album on e-bay for under $10.00

You can get modern and some classic con albums at Hobby Lobby. They're the U.S. Mint type, the blue and silver ones. There is a 40% coupon on their site almost every week that helps with the cost.

Those are from Harris. If you go to the Whitman web site and request a catalog, you would ses that they produce the Whitman Classic, Whitman Folders, US Mint and Harris products. Whitman is owned by Harris. Also, try used book stores and even the Salvation Army stores.
I've found at coin shows if you ask dealers, some can get you Albums for free or close to that. They purchase collections from people and put all the coins in flips for sales at shows. Many just throw out the Albums.

I only shop online for these. I use coinsupplyexpress. I find that they have great prices, service and have a 9.99 flat shipping fee if you hit a modest minimum order amount ($50). The only thing to be aware of is that they are on the West Coast so maybe you need to add a day to the shipping lead-times. I however receive my orders within 3 shipping days, which I can track via the USPS website.
My local coin dealer does however sell me used Whitman albums for $5, if I need one. I buy them for my kids sets which I'm building from CRH.

I posted these before in another thread, but here are some sites I recommend. I have purchased from the 1st 3.

Try these stores (in this order):
http://www.valleycoin.com/
http://www.danscoalbumstore.com/ (this is not an official Dansco website, some confuse it for that. Dansco does not have a website)
http://www.vernoncoincenter.com/
http://www.jakesmp.net/
http://www.tradewindssupplies.com
http://www.wizardcoinsupply.com/
http://www.coinsupplyexpress.com/

Shop Hobby Lobby for modern Whitman albums, for which you can get a 40% discount if you know what to do.
