Peter THOMAS: What you are describing is a well-known and common CL scam.
I don't think it is the same as what the OP is talking about. I think what some other posters are questioning is the authenticity of the slabs and/or coins in the collection.
I actually have 2 Camaro's already. I have a 69 Z28 with original DZ302 and 15k miles, a 93 Z28 with 6 speed and a 89 RS (was an original 25k mile car with a 305 TBI) that my son and I were rebuilding and I just got the Vortec 350 put in it a couple months ago. This was just done as a father son project that I was wanting to do more than he did. he seemed to be excited about doing it with me until he realized it would take away time from his friends and video games, so he lost interest pretty fast. We took the engine out together and purchased a Vortec 350 and tore it down and put it on the motor stand. It sat there for about a year and a half waiting on him to want to work on it until I finally said heck with it and put together myself. I wasn't actually looking for any camaro, I just like looking at cars and usually look to see whats out there
