Cry? Because they are damaged? At least they are listed for what they are...simply silver coins. And yeah at $2.80 it would be a great deal.

Now that really is junk silver! But still, at $2.80 it's way below melt...

Oh poor tzarmarko! There is a phrase which brings me a bit of comfort: "A coin is, what it is." Coins were made to facilitate commerce. Coins suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous misfortune. Coin collectors can only do their best to preserve these servants of commerce. Yeah, it hurts ... a LOT!

Quote: But still, at $2.80 it's way below melt... Indeed! The winner will cash in on quite a bit as they put them out of their misery when they put these in next lot they ship off to the smelter. Still hurts to see nice silver coins thrashed like that.

I enjoy guns as much as coins so to me the bullet whole one is kind of cool especially if theres a story behind it. I like to think it happened in a shootout where the law won

I cant imagine the poor fellow who had that quarter in his jacket pocket in the ol' west when some no good bandit shoots him down for his silver!

Well its a 1964 quarter so I don't know if it was a bandit shooting the coin or a teenager who found it among grandpas old piggy bank. :)
