Time for a few laughs, folks!

Even if Abraham Lincoln had this in his pocket at Ford's Theater, I doubt that it would fetch the amount asked for.

To be completely "fair," "traderz" such as these are consistent:
problem coins at consistently inflated
grades and prices.

Now this is in my price range!
But just a tad too much wear.

So, when I saw this one I could not leave it behind.

1857-Half-Dollar---Satire

$64 was all I had on me and Vinny had asked for $65.
He let me have it for $64.
He didn't want a dollar's worth of pocket change!

Sometimes, you just have to bow down to the absurd.

I love the one with the hole in it for $2195! I need to start drilling some coins and give a long BS story about how it got that way.
Your $64 buy was a good one!

Thank you for the humorous interlude - I needed one tonight.

And to cap it with a solid high-VF of the same year, with a perfect patina, for $64? Um, yeah. Fruit:

Just make sure she gets a couple of stitches for that hole in her elbow.

Oh, Dave,
Miss Liberty donated blood to the Union Army during the Civil War.
She wears it as a badge of pride.
When coin collecting becomes too much of a worry,
or when life's troubles cause us angina,
a little humor goes a long way.
Thanks for understanding my poor attempt to make life a bit brighter.
