I have decided to attempt the slabbed 7070 set too. Where are you finding most of your coins? Local, online, going to shows? I think I have done about as many as I can locally, and might have to expand my search to fill the remaining holes.

mkman123, I picked up my Pelican case off of ebay, the seller was using it for his/her camera equipment and needed to up-size to a larger case. It was about $75 postpaid.

Joe2007, I want to finish the non-gold spots first, but if a steal of a deal should come around...tempting.

usc96, I seen your thread on your set...Wow! Really nice start on an MS set! I picked a few at the OK Annual Coin Show (in May), but the bigger majority is off of ebay.

Ramen, not Ramon.

More specifically, instant noodles (scroll down to the United States section).

It is usually cheap, dirt cheap. The joke is that it is what you eat when you are broke, poor, or attending university.

No, drsfreeworld, the one you pointed out was a later year, 1925 I believe, which was after I snagged the 1917 Type II.

Ramon noodles are the "cheaper" knock off of Ramen noodles, about 0.05 per pack!

Not quite to the "wasted" part!

I updated my spreadsheet and there are 11 spots (including four Commemorative Half Dollars 1920-54), not including the gold.
