I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole. Considering that this seller has already most likely cracked out a high-end problem coin(1858 IHC pattern from a newly-locked post), doctored it, and then is now attempting to resell it with no mention of the problems, it would not surprise me that the seller is nothing but a crackout doctor- one of the worst kinds of coin dealers
Edit: Boy oh boy, did I ever call that one- chamblee is now a proven crackout con-artist as demonstrated by two rare pattern coins that once resided in problem holders but are now listed raw by him/her on ebay with no mention of their problems https://goccf.com/t/128704
Probably not worth the current bid, IMHO. I would suggest making a free account at heritage and browsing completed auctions of this 50 cent standard. It came in silver, too.
