I just received this hi-class lady in as an upgrade to my existing Braided Hair Large Cent. All thoughts as to grade and attribute would be greatly appreciated. I'm trying to decide whether to send her in for grading, but then again, she's going to be in my 7070 so why bother? I yield the floor to our experts. Paleoguy

Wow, nice coin, I like it! It seems worthy of a slab, my only concern would be the discoloration on the reverse. Under a glass, do you see any corrosion? If it does have environmental issues, the best you will get is a "genuine" from PCGS or a details grade from NGC. Otherwise, I would go for it.

What is going on in the denticles under the date?

Nice Large Cent, not sure about the "details" grade.

Looks like an incomplete strike to me. I can't see any evidence of damage or human interference.

A very attractive coin PG, it looks to be MS but even if it's AU58 she will shine in your album.

It appears to be at least a high AU and quite possibly MS. I am not sure about the patches on the reverse.

I am indeed a novice on this series ... but I truly enjoy seeing this lovely coin PG.

I see maybe a few issues ... the apparent verdigris on the reverse is concerning ... but a lovely coin indeed.
