Hello, This is my first post on this forum though I have been on SCF for some time. I reecently decided to begin collecting WW currency and have a question.I saw the French AMC 2 franc note on a couple of websites. The P-114b was listed as 114b "2" and 114b block 2 on two different websites. What ia the difference between the two.
Many thanks

Sorry, I couldn't find the edit button so I am replying to my own topic. I should have asked what the difference was between P-114a and P-114b.
Thanks

The 2 is a block number and was added when the print run went over 99999999.

The 100 franc note has 10 blocks.

Good info, thanks. Wouldn't it be cool to have note 99999999 and note 00000001 from block 2 :)

A note with the letter "X" in the same location is a replacement.
