depends on what is fair price? canada coin and currency is around 600.00 its a nice coin with an odd finish.

@BiBo and @RoyalSilver: if you think 5 oz for $495.95 is expensive...then the Fine Silver 5 Coin Set - Farewell to the Penny that costs $149.95 comes out to about $317/oz troy...and the 1 kg Fine Silver that goes for $2,249.95 works out to be only $70/oz troy.

Today is the 2 month (Oct. 4) anniversary I ordered it from Canada Post. Have not received it yet. How about you guys?

The 5 oz penny will not be shipping from Canada Post. A supervisor told me they sold out of the coins and will not be re-stocking them. Any orders still left on their computer system are due to a computer glitch.

MoneyPenny is right. I ordered three of these 5oz pennies on October 4 and somehow my order was totally missed. I talked to a couple people at Canada post and they told me that I will not be receiving my coins. I was pretty mad about this since I ordered them on the first day they had them listed in their website. I asked to have the contact information of the director of this department and after 4 weekly emails I finally got a response. They agreed to sell me another one of their coins at a 20% discount because of their mistake. I ended up buying the 2013 silver fractional set for ~$159 (retail $199.95). I'm satisfied with this but I sure wish canada post would get their act together with regard to processing orders.
