PCGS and pay them extra for the mintage designation, without this on the label, no US or world collector will care.

Is PCGS pricing similar to ICCS?

The baby rattle loonie not sure, it is at a good value now with a much higher reported mintage, it also does not have the traditional design, but having PCGS label should also help. There is just a huge cost to get them to grade and special label a coin.

With PCGS you need to join one of the service level, shipping back and forth around 150.00, try to find one of their Canadian dealers, or ICCS if they would special label 30.00 plus shipping.

Sorry john100, I was referring to the cost to grade a coin at PCGS versus the cost to grade a coin at PCGS. I am somewhat familiar with grading fees charged by ICCS but not with PCGS. Thank you for mentioning the label option, I did not realize PCGS provided that service.

I've used PCGS grading services in the past and wasn't aware of the Mintage designation. I went through all of their available options on the web and could not find any detail on how to order this option. Not that it matters to me that much but just curious.

Apparently you can pay extra to have special wordings on their labels, ie, Pitman, Saddle creek, there are many others just brain cramping at the moment

There was a wedding set in Saturdays colonial acres auction for over a thousand, I don't recall exact price. There was also a 2007 rattle. Nice sets they should offer again. Very astute to buy several. 2007 seems to be a banner year for coins retaining or increasing in value. my favorite is the plasma coin! Sadly no such excitement these days in Canadian coins. Yingyang I love the thread on your personal collection. reread it from page 1, very inspiring. I miss threads like those, with people sharing their collection. It sparks interest in other coins of different years!

But prior shipping such expensive item, I would contact seller and re-confirmed with him, that he did see your description. Cause night be returned due to: "the item not as described". Btw, from the pictures for me the Looney looks very good, didn't notice the toning.
