but couldn't resist cleaning this coin. It is a 1909 S VDB cent. I mean, come on, it was totally ugly before I did it. What does everyone have against lighter colored cents? The coin dealer I always buy from finds a chocolate colored cent to be better than a lighter cent of the same detail quality.

Sorry, couldn't figure out any other way. Thought this would get be a good joke. Sorry. There is nothing wrong with the, just most of the time they are cleaned, and can signifently lower a coins value.
