First thing I would do is give my local church 11.6 million.

Then buy these four vehicles:
2013 Buick LaCrosse
2013 Buick Enclave
2013 GMC Sierra 1500
2013 Chrysler Town & Country

Next I would have the home I have always wanted built. A two story five bedroom house with a rap around porch on both levels with about 1000 acres here in middle Tennessee.

Then I would let my kids have $500,000 to spend on anything.

I would put up enough for all three of my kids to go as far as medical school (if they want to) in college.

Then I would take my wife on the honeymoon we never had to see Ireland.

Put enough away so that if I really do not want to work anymore I can quit.

Then my coins:
Indian Head penny
COPPER-NICKEL
1861
1862
1863
1864
BRONZE
1864 No L
1864 With L

1865 curved tip 5

Two Cent Piece
1864 Small Motto
1864 Large Motto
1865 plain tip 5
1865 curved tip 5

TRIMES OR Three Cent PIECE
SILVER
1861
1862 2 over 1
1862
1863 3 over 2
1863
1864
1865

NICKEL
1865

Half Dimes
1861
1861 1 over 0
1862
1863
1863S
1864
1864S
1865

1861
1861 5 lines in top of shield variety
1861S

1863
1863S

1864S
1865
1865S

Quarter Dollar
1861
1861S
1862
1862S
1863
1864
1864S
1865
1865S

1864S

1865S

Dollars
1861
1862
1863
1864
1865

I would try to buy every coin off my list in MS state especially the rariest pieces.

Then the gold:
1861 D gold dollar as many that I could find
1863 gold dollar
1861 quarter eagle old reverse
1862/1 quarter eagle
1862 S quarter eagle
1863 proof quarter eagle
1864 quarter eagle
1865 quarter eagle
1865 three dollar gold coin
1861 C half eagle
1861 D half eagle
1862 S half eagle
1864 S half eagle
1861 S eagle
1863 eagle
1864 S eagle
1865 eagle
1861 O double eagle
1861 Paquet reverse double eagle
1861 S Paquet reverse double eagle

All in Ms state and reall nice.

Finally if I had any money left I would go for the really rare stuff:

1866 Lincoln five-cent piece. 7-12 known
1861 Confederate cent 12-15 known
1861 Confederate Half Dollar 4 known
1864 Copper Nickel Snow-5
1864 No L Snow-4
1865 Fancy 5 Snow-1a

What do you think? Dreaming or what? I love the idea.

@civilwarcoincollector, You had such a crazy dream! LOL

You typed so much about what you wanted.

@coins4fun, and you're joking right about winning because other members pointed out there wasn't no 100 million draws.

Powerball is also a national game. Trust me, I know. I worked the day of the "Big'un" and we had five employees in the store--there was no time for me to do cooler, etc. I was running a third "cash register" for cash transactions only out of a cigar box using paper clips, a spare roll of receipt paper to write scrip to cash into a real drawer later, and $30 I took out of one of the drawers to make change with. When we finally shut down at 8pm I had more than three hundred bucks in there--and I'd already emptied it out twice. (And, I would like to add, I was ALSO the one running the lottery machine. The other people on register were so slow that I was "ringing out" people using mental math, printing their tickets, and getting them on their way with a 2:1 ratio over my coworkers--and I was printing their tickets too. Both of them are old enough to have children my age. Therefore there shall be no complaining about Kids These Days And Their Awful Math in this thread.)

I changed my mind. I'd like to go to Chicago to bid on and win the Walton 1913 Nickel. It will make a decent addition to my coin collection. Would any professional on the forum like to go with me? I can pay for everything with my jackpot winnings. Wait until you hear this. I just noticed a pig flying out the window! And it's raining malted milk balls!

Get the 1913 nickel, and then, while on national TV, have people dare you to swallow it.

You mean the $5 Million Dollar Nickel. The nickel would still be worth at least a million if I digested it and it came out the other end.
