I'm going to make one for myself tomorrow, and it will cost me exactly $0.05. Curious if anyone will buy it If somebody does, then I might consider starting a new business venture

It's you you can hang the key on a rail inside a box.

Dave, in all seriousness, if you do make one please use pliers to hold the nickel and wear safety googles. When trying to cut a slot into something as small as a nickel, it's bound to go flying across the room a couple times before you get the hang of it. This comes from experience, but not with nickels.
Rest in Peace

Dave H, I can see this taking off and being huge! I would purchase a nice little used Cincinnati mill and a nice Kurt vise.

TJB17, I was only kidding about making them, but thanks for your concern. I would take them to the machine shop at work if I was really going to do it, and use a milling machine

I found this one roll hunting a month or 2 back (already holes and counterstamped) and thought it would make a neat key chain as well as a way to always have a silver coin on me so when I tell people about coins I could show them.

The other 2 items on the keyring are Mississippi sales tax tokens.

If anyone has any info on them feel free to let me know
