The Breen 1287's seem to have an obverse crack running from about 11:00 to 3:00, but your crack runs the other way. Did notice this ebay offering, though; your coin's variety is not alone in the world: http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/view...220927904998 It seems they had trouble identifying the variety on this one. I will call it similar to Breen 1287. Edit: I believe the Whitman book has the wrong coin pictured for this variety. Further investigation leads me to believe this cannot be die 1.
