My guess is that it is a really well struck, early strike, specimen silver dollar... possibly from one of the rarer VIP Specimen sets, that came in the long black case like the 1970 VIP set. The RCM made so many of the 1971 clamshell silver dollars, it is not hard to find a good one. DBM Pillar of the Community Canada 9877 Posts	Posted 06/08/2013 12:06 am US TPGs have graded specimen coins with nice cameos as proof.As SPP suggested these are quite common. 25 bucks IMO.
