Hello. Can you tell me something about these coin bags? I know, that 99%"unsearched" penny rolls are searched, but how looks situation with Loomis bags? I bought one and I'm curious is there chance that seller opened this bag, searched the coins and then closed the bag, so bag looks like unsearched? The closure of these bags is thermically sealed or "stringed" sealed? Thank you for answer and sorry for my english.

You can get these bags from banks that use loomis. Seller probably sealed it himself.

There's a chance it came sealed from Loomis but there's no real way to know from a picture. That bag is a new bag and if it is full of wheat cents, I think someone most definitely filled and sealed it. What are the odds a bank would get that bag filled with nothing but cents which have been out of circulation for at least 54 years? Sorry buddy, I think someone got you on this one.

Yes, it is a bag full of wheat cents... Seller told me, that he have this one from bank manager... Goodbye 45$

Edit - seller offers full refund for these bags, if they are "unopened". I dont know why "unopened", not unopened:)

Well, there is still a chance there's something decent in the bag, and I love wheat cents so I always keep them when I get them. Even if there's no 1909-S VDB, there could be some earlier S mint cents in there that'd make it interesting.

I've got a few of those bags w/UNC nickels from boxes. I imagine you could keep your lunch in one. Very easy to obtain.

If the cents were pulled from bulk cents by a Loomis employee and sealed by Loomis then there is a possibility that there could be something decent in there. That would be only if that employee didn't know what dates/mints to watch out for. How many cents are in the bag? Wheat cent rolls typically sell for about $2.00 for mixed dates in the 1940' and 50's here in the States.
