The new 5$ bill with Canadarm2 and Dextre and the new 10$ will the train will be out as of the 7th of November.

Hopeful my local banks will get it on its release date, as was the case with the 100$ and 50$ but not the 20$

I think the government ought to send both a $5 and a $10 to every household in Canada.

A friend of mine saw a guy show these bills as samples against counterfeiting a couple months ago.

The question is, did these samples have Mark Carney's signature on them? If so, and this release in November has Stephen Poloz's signature, I'd like those samples!

$5 is the best denomination for odd numbering search.

brexzz1:

Are you getting one brick or one bundle?

100 Notes = 1 Bundle
10 Bundles = 1 Brick (1,000 bills)
4 Bricks = 1 Block (4,000 bills)
16 Bricks = Super Block

When I went to the RCNA show in Winnipeg they also had on display some other designs that didn't make the cut...

I really wish I took a picture, because while these notes are nice... In my opinion there were a WAY better alternative.. with respect to numerals, design and orientation.

Anyone knows if we can get those new bills from the Bank of Canada the day of release? I work in downtown Ottawa and can walk there. I wrote them an email asking last week and never got a reply. Thanks!
