I have this toonie with an ill fitted center, there seems to be a big gap all around, and not a tight fit, is this common for the nunavut? Thanks in advance!

The nickel ring was poorly annealed and the metal did not flow to meet the core during the strike. This is quite common for the 1999 Nunavut strikes.

I remember seeing that the unannealed nunavut cores were selling for at least $40.00 and more in some places. I don't know if they've become common but I'd look around at a few places first...just in case.
