I have had quite a lot of these going through my hands over the last couple of years, Most of which have been bought using the images supplied by the sellers.
Looking at this one I would say it would be lucky indeed to get a AU50 grade from PCGS.
Being in a APCGS holder is another REAL threat to the authenticity of the grade.
This is just another instance of this deplorable grading company's tactics in selling either fake of grossly overgarded coin and endangering the market for genuine and correctly graded coins.

Don't walk away from this one RUN

Well, looking at the seller of that coin as well as what else he is selling (double head 5 cent(current bid $2200) as well as other quality coins) the sales look quite strong. I did notice that the two 1930 pennies did sell, $19,500 and $22,000 which is also quite strong. A bulk lot sold for $3k, 1971 Proof 50cent sold for $150, a 1964Y penny in ms66 sold for $162.51, 1928 florin sold for $605, 1915h florin $390, so looking at that on ebay are quite strong also. I did notice on there site, they have a special this month which looks like cheap slabbing for you Shane on a couple of your coins.

Shane is a Mate of mine and I object strongly with your advice to use this disreputable grading company to grade his coins.
Not only do they overgrade to the max but they also grade fake coins as well.
I cannot wait for PCGS to sue the crap out of this mob that are slowly destroying the hard earned reputation that PCGS has built up in Australia .
Fess up Mate are you one of the owners or affiliated with this shabby grading company?

yeh don't use apcgs
I really wish that they did have a good rep as I don't exactly like Pcgs but at least Pcgs has a hard won reputation for quality grading
Apcgs had only got a reputation for making a quick buck at the expense of inexperienced collectors
I know of one person who was duped into a couple of Apcgs items at great expense and was left massively out of pocket and disillusioned with coin collecting
APCGs is bad for the industry

lol
whilst you are at it Shane send that file of fake Chinese knock offs you bought. I am sure that Apcgs will grade them as mint state!
you will regret it if you send them stuff to be graded. $8 may be cheap but a cheap turd is still a turd

I am not a farmer , I work in the Mining industry.
Anyway the farmers that kept their sheep in WA are laughing all the way to the bank with the way lamb prices have been over the last few years.

Sending Decimal coins away to PCGS will normally cost about $25 per coin, NOT a huge expense and what you get back is a genuine appraisal of your coin which will enhance its value.

APCGS at $8 a pop is simply a waste of money, Unless you intend to dupe people with the BS grades supplied by this company.
IMHO anyone that gets their coins graded by APCGS knowing their "Modus operendi" and then offers them for sale are just as shonky and should be avoided like the plague .

You have some outstanding coins Mate , Why waste your money and sully your reputation by sending them to APCGS

Lol ..... Trout, I think Shane was referring to himself with the farmer comment. He often calls himself that.
