While I didn't capture it in the pictures, these coins have a great luster. I got them on ebay a couple years back but have always had my doubts about them.

I suck at macros. Hopefully it's close enough to clearly show the surface of the coins. When looking at them through a loupe I can't find and abrasions or marks from cleaning. Figured I'd finally get around to asking others for their opinion.

is that a fingerprint under liberty on the 1945 p? the coppers look good to me but I'm no pro. the steel cents are something I'm not comfortable commenting on but I will say they don't have the same look as other for sure plated coins I've come across.

Thanks for the responses guys. Yes, I also wonder about the steelies. Here are some more pics, but from farther away. Then some other ones from the same purchase which I was still wondering about.

Some of the same in the OP plus some other ones...

The Steelies are on decent shape. I have seen and owned worse. It does look like the zinc coating is wearing off a little bit, but that is very common.
