Thought I'd update you all on this coin. I sent it into NGC for grading and the dealer called me today to tell me it came in at an MS-64 FH. Yippee! Not bad for an $178.00 ebay find. I won't get it for another 10 days. But will post some pictures when I do get it. Would have never thought it would come out as a 64, so I'm very happy. This means I'll have to upgrade my 1917 d & s. My Denver mint is a AU-55 FH. And my SanFrancisco mint is a EF 45. I'll post pictures of them to

Finally got a chance to post a picture of the end result. I'm very happy with the outcome, but still not sure if it's a Ms64, but not going to argue it. :) got to admit its a beauty.
