It might have been in the ground for a while. I was going to say the 1 looks funny, but considering all the chiseling around the numerals I think it's OK. It looks like a lot of crud was scraped and rubbed off to make it look as good as it is. Tramp art in a way. "Two minutes ago I would have sold my chances for a tired dime."
