I always have difficulty to know if a penny are MS-65 or a PL graded... :(

How do you guys do ?

The background looks different, PL has a more smooth one. But you need to compare to see the difference.

the pl coins in that image are probably the ones with the letters NC(stands for numismatic coin?).
