Looks like it could be a double clip - better pics would help.

Yeah this is just damaged. If it was an error it would be a straight clipped planchet but there is no Blakesly effect so it was most likely grinded down or cut by some tool.

Post pics. The Blakesly effect is common, but not absolutely 100% always will occur. Please add pics of the edges too.

Looks like it is claiming to have TWO straight clips which would be rather difficult. Especially since they are not at 90 degrees from each other.
