Charlotte gold presents a challenging to grade imo
I'm going to venture a rookie guess and say this is graded between XF-45 and AU-53

AU53 sounds right to me. Looks well struck except for the C!

I'm going to go MS-60. This looks like a great strike for a Charlotte. Bagmarks would keep it back from deeper into MS. Thanks for posting.

Good strike for Charlotte. Pretty banged up as most of these are, I think it graded AU-53.

Sweet coin. MS62 for me, but I don't really know the series very well, so I am probably way off!

Very tough call, as I just refreshed by looking at some over on Heritage. This one appears to be around AU55 to MS62, there are some MS62 that on Heritage that look more worn, and some AU coins that appear to be mid range MS. The "C" is weakly struck when comparing to others, this is the second most common Charlotte gold coin, so I'd imagine that many are in the AU/MS range.
I've gotta go with MS60/61 on this one hopefully no details for the scratches.
EDIT-spelling.

Congrats to zxcccxz and BH1964. I think they may have net graded it a bit for the weak C, or perhaps an old dip...cuz it does seem to compare with higher grades.

That last picture is really good Johnny. I should have stuck with my gut which was telling me this is an AU coin but I doubted myself. Congrats on your first Charlotte gold coin. -MV
