i gotta say, I tried really hard with two different post office, and bot told me the same thing that unless it had been pre-ordered, you would not get one. and by pre-ordered, it had to be done on Aug 21st when they first released it. go figures...

do you speak about silver coins?

The PO was able to order the coins, yesterday.....

I don't get how the supply of silver superman @ issue dried up everywhere, especially at PO. There's under 50 silver on ebay. Shops with inventory raised prices. What happened to 30,000 coins?

I really like this new release better than last years!!

After trying a few times, I was finally able to order the Action Comics #1 through the CP web site. It appeared that all three Silver were available to order yesterday but I was only after the one. I just checked CP web site and all 3 silver now show as "Sold Out" and no longer available for order.

I stopped by two local CP here in Edmonton and both told me they don't expect the coins until mid Sept. and neither was offering to reserve for me.

I was able to get one coin Action Comics #1 at a Post Office. They said the others haven't come in yet.

Coinshoppe has the gold coin...

Yup! It's a steal at only CDN $1,299.95!

Now what happened to the angry mob of coin nuts seeking the gold Superman that was about to storm RCM headquarters and bring justice to Mr. Bennett (seen right at the end of the video). Also try to spot MoneyPenney, he's in there somewhere.

I suspect, that due some delay CP hasn't receive full allocation, and we might see some gold coins there...

Just go to Toronto Kijiji - it full of the offerings for the 2014 Gold Superman for this price. But again, in the Kijiji you do not have the " ebay buyer protection policy".

Strange, he was sold out the other day. He must have held back some unless he got new stock.

Since he significantly raised the price, I believe, that it not part of the allocation.
Could be, he managed to get some from other dealer, when they were available for less.

I've just received a communication from the dealer I bought one gold coin. My order is guaranteed and it will be shipped as soon as they receive the stock from RCM

Good news arianzo !! I'm happy for you !

I managed to get all 4 coins from RCM. Also have the 2011 Superman #596 comic to go with it.

Great new to both Sherwood & Arianzo. It's nice to hear when collectors score a hot coin. @ Sherwood it's a coup to have the comic to go along with the set. I'd like to see pics when you get the set, showing the comic with it. I really like the Sman release much better than the color Disney coins. I really like the gold coin design this time. I like the 2014 designs better than the 2013 ones. I still need a $20 coin to complete my set.

Agree pocket change,I really don't care for the colored Disney coins either. I liked the vintage Steamboat & Donald a lot more especially the gold version.

I was trying to get another 2014 Superman gold and possibly try to trade it for a 2013 gold so I'd have both but it didn't work out. Oh well I shouldn't be greedy and just be happy with the one I have !

I will definitely post a pic of the 2014 Superman coins & comic book when everything arrives.

You can get it here for $1300+Tax, or contact the seller:
http://www.thecoinshoppe.ca/2014-14...96-from-2001 br /
or:

look at kijiji - same price as above, but no tax (I assume)

So if the trade will work, you'll get the 2013 for lowered price.
