This one was PCGS graded...it has a PR grade. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to say that or if it's obvious from the pics. I'm a beginner trying to learn about the coins inherited from my father. This coin has a shine to it that's not captured in the photos. Any thoughts?

The detail in the hair is exquisite, it must be a proof. The foxing on the fields and devices holds it back unfortunately so I'll say PF-64. Beautiful coin. I think it's cool that you've taken over your Dad's collection. My Grandfather and Great Grandfather were collectors and I have have many heirloom coins that I treasure.

Right on, this one was graded PR 64! My pics certainly didn't do a good job of capturing the shine.
Rest in Peace
