I look at the protected areas. I WANT them to be darker. Unless the shine can be detected between the letters and these dark areas retoned I think that you are fine. Report this Post to the Staff

Jaobler Pillar of the Community United States 6394 Posts	Posted 02/14/2015 6:20 pm Solid VG-8 in my book and surfaces look original. The only defects I see are a small rim bruise at 6:30 on the reverse and a tiny one at 1:30 on the obverse. They likely would not preclude a righteous grade.
