I'm pretty sure only vampires are supposed to live in a place like that! I lived in WA state all last year for the first time (military) and I just could not get used to the weather, everyday there were clouds in the sky, and if it didn't rain, it sure as heck looked like it was going to. I come from a state where it's warm and sunny. Sorry bud, maybe Amazon can launch their drone service sooner than later for you.

Stacker you were a year to early , the entire January to early March this year has been incredible ,on Van Isle we have had very little rain and well into the fifties every day for weeks now. Sure beats the heck out of blizzards! Now where are those water skis and my summer shorts ! !!!!

And Halifax has had like half the amount of snow as Saint John! I'll never miss winter once I leave here

March 18, 2015 Winter Storm Warning, all of NSThis drift in my back yard is over 5 feet tall, you can see my clothesline. The object sticking out of the drift is a singer sewing table I use to put the laundry basket on it is waist high. The clothesline is ~7 feet above the ground. Disturbing mental image AgcoinAu! Here is driftzilla after a good 8 hour shift of hard snowing and wind from the nor'east.

@SilverDon:
thanks for picture.
Amazing people ability to leave not in soft conditions. Without moving to your area, cause I love my city, wish we had the same view, like you posted.

Much contrast to the tree you posted in the park in TO, Silveroid. People are getting grouchy. PEI and NB are burried. Close the curtains/blinds, eat ripple storm chips, hot soup, order up a few movies. Cribbage. Hunker down. Winning storm formula.
Edit: No storm yesterday and I received an order of coins. Good timing.

Quote: People are getting grouchy. PEI and NB are burried. Yup! This is our's and our neighbour's backyard - that's a full-sized trellis/archway and there's a tall picket fence and mature rhododendrons under there somewhere. The snow to the right (not in the photo) is taller than our studio/garage. This photo was before today's blizzard accumulations.

Hang in there East coasters, I like snow but not that much. Here on the wet coast the mountains got no snow and shut down the ski season.

I miss Halifax but not its winter. I live in the Midwest now and I already have blooms in my gardens with my crocuses. For some reason my microclimate allows me to have my flowers llike two weeks sooner then my family in the same county with the same species haha. Daffodils are still growing.

Can't complain in Winnipeg this year. We have had a fairly mild winter (by our standards anyway) and the city is nearly snow free now.

Just had another thought! I will never look at blast white coins in the same way again! I think mellow blue and see green surfaces over flashy lustrous surfaces sounds far more west coast than blast white over snowy devices . Have a nice eastern sprinter my fellow Canadians........................ honey where is the suntan lotion? Here in Victoria this morning sunny expected high 16-17 c.
