The question needed to be asked, and I have no further questions. The quarter stands as a "WOW!"

Either a MS65FH, MS65FH+, or a MS66FH.
I don't want to say a 67 but it's awfully close.

Most of the time the CCF Members are spot on...this is an exception...or the graders were having a bad day; Thanks for the feedback, I should receive it today.

Wow, I guess that green bean actually means something on your coin! It should have a gold bean.

The upper reverse is troublesome, but 63 still defines the "brutal" part I mentioned about current PCGS grading.
PCGS seems to want to drive CAC out of business with their grading - bet Albanese wouldn't mind that - but it appears that not all their graders got the message.

If you got it for MS63 money, I'd say you did pretty well on that one. A bit stunned it didn't grade higher.

I was at MS64FH but wondering if that light scratch on the eagles wing (reverse) was the reason for the 63?

I was at 65FH no problem.
Who are these graders at PCGS lately? Can't wait until another 10 years. Coins like this will get AU55.

I think we all agree FH any TPG that would grade otherwise wouldn't be around long. ill go with majority ms 65 fh. Happy Birthday. Way to treat yourself. if you don't who will. As far as strike go on ebay and look at 1922 lincolns on the left side click au58 and look at the reverse of the 4 coins some have full wheat lines and some have 30% of wheat lines missing but its strike not because of ware hence the high grade. many coins can be miss graded this way and it makes a great opportunity to pick up bargains. to clarify I post this for newcomers to learn I see you are experienced and most likely know this already. plus after 40 years I learn new stuff on here everyday.

I think 64 would have been more fair. I can see the scratch and the 2.5 times price difference keeping it out of 65 grade. but I would pay the smaller premium 64 price on a coin that nice.
