(1979 Dime Possible Error) Any Help

Silver Gorilla Valued Member 286 Posts	Posted 12/21/2007 8:03 pm Any help with this Dime, well it looks like there is doubling on the words Liberty With only the (B) (E) and (R), But I really don't know about the date 1979 with only the 9 and 7 outstanding from the rest. What I really want to know is, is it common for the Mint Mark J's to look like a JB or just a blob. That is not the mintmark, it is the designer initials- John Sinnock. Edit: I have silver dimes on the brain The mintmark on clad dimes is on the obverse by the date.
