I gave you your own topic,, and un piggy backed the topics ,,you will more get responses this way . Have you attempted to pick the cent up with a magnet ? If its steel it will stick . However I think it is a plated cent there are many of these floating around out there either from school experiment or just idle time in a plating shop and with the new portable plating businesses that are now out there I expect to see more of them . davidlm3 New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 12/25/2007 07:03 am Hi Metalman and Bill, thanks for the response. Attempted to take a picture but the camera made the penny look copper. It basically looks like a zinc/steel penny. Tried the magnet and it did not pick it up. Must of been as you said...a novelty. Thanks! Report this Post to the Staff
