Congrats on one of the best modern sets there is to complete IMO! They look sharp in your album for sure.

Mine are not in a Dansco, they are in a Wizard-sold album. Eventually I hope to make a plexi holder for them. I did fill a couple extra holes with Monlight mint overstrikes: a silver 1970 and a clad 1975. Now I am wishing I got more of the varieties when they were first made.

So, what are you going to put in those four blank holes?

Maybe a blue Ike token from the UNC packaging.... or errors, varieties, or ones that look like your avatar.

Are there other appropriate Ike-sized tokens (besides the blue UNC tokens) that would fit the holes?

Will the Ike Commemorative Dollars fit in the Dansco? That would utilize 2 spaces.

Yes, they will! Others have used those before.

You can throw the two Fiver Star General dollars in there for the other two.

Yes, I believe so. I should say I'll be focusing on that one primarily, but I will still dabble in other areas (US $1 and $2 notes for instance) while I'm working on that one.

I have a "from circulation" Kennedy set going in a Whitman Classic. Might have to mosey on down to the LCS again and see if they have a nice used Dansco and start from scratch with an UNC/Proof set.

At the same time, I still do have a few Ikes that need to be upgraded, so I'll keep my eyes peeled for those too. Always a work in progress, right?

Sounds like the correct course of action.

I believe I'll leave my Whitman Classic for the "from circulation" coins, though that means I'll either have to have a bunch of blank "S" holes or buy two sets of proofs and other NICs... hmmm...

Also, the 2014 issues will be interesting on how I'll handle. Don't think I'm going to fork out (again) for the gold Kennedy, though that would look sweet!

Even if I did break down and get the gold Kennedy, I would likely leave it in the OGP. That wood box is very nice, in my humble opinion.

Word. I think what I'll do is put a gold-plated in the hole with a callout that says "go look in the safe". Oh wait, what hole?
