The reverse of this coin is a little scary. From that photo it's really hard to tell but it looks like the wear patterns are not typical for this date / mms. This is especially true of the right wing and center neck area. Additionally, the periphery appears to have doubling, especially at the 7-8 o'clock area. I'd really need a better photo, preferably out of the 2 X 2, to give a real opinion.

You're right. moxking. Didn't look that close at reverse. Strike-through?

XF-Details, I suspect harshly cleaned. I'm almost certain that this is not a true colour photo and that the images are making the coin look much darker than it is.
Rest in Peace

I can assure you that I'm not an alarmist seeing fakes behind every tree, but I'd strongly recommend that you check the edge of this coin for any sign of a seam.

On reverse look at the bases of UNIT and ICA in the legend. See all that bummed up looking tails on the letters? That's not indicative of Grease Fill, machine or die doubling, or strike through. It is indicative of casting. Please check you edge.

You're suggesting a cast fake, with possible later cleaning in this case (getting kinda far out)?

Look at the dentices directly right of the tip of the left wing. That can't be a mint error, as it's not any kind of die shift, so that only leaves one other alternative that I can think of.

I took the last photos with the monochrome setting.
The photos here are just as they came out of the camera except I resized them.

I have to agree with moxking, the coin does not look genuine.

UNITED has mucho problems. Reminds me of the fake Seated dollar that has that horrific doubling on the letters.
