If you keep the bookends to the radar it will be sufficient... as for potential value... well many others have posted they as well as I don't really think they'll go up too much in value.. I think they'll make a great addition to anyone that collects current notes this will be one they will have to have in the collection. But since most will be able to get them for face value I don't see them going up much in value. I grabbed a few for myself and a few others I know will want 'em and that's it.

[quote]Any ideas on a potential value and how many consecutives from each side of it I should keep?/quote]
In my experience selling radars with shoulder notes only turns some people off, whereas the radar collector will still be interested without the shoulder notes. As for value the last two digit radar I sold I got $85.00 with serial number 7770777 so it may have interested some of the slots crowd. Hope this helps.
Cheers, Bill

Quote: found a RADAR! FWS8838388. Awesome!! If you want to save higher/lower sequential notes, I agree that one from each end is enough. I was able to pick up 100 of these new notes this morning and I just had a chance to look through them. I saw a picture of someone that got FWS1000000 through bank connections. Mine were all FWS, but came from three different sequences: 1002900-1002929, 1002931-1002939, and 1003138-1003199. There was no 1002930 included.

A radar is when there is a centre point and both sides are the exact same. Example. (3210123). Think of it as a parallel line

Quote: @Zonad, that's also a rotator note Not a true rotator. I thought it was also but if you spin this number upside down, it reads a new number. 0969690 upside down or rotated it is - 0696960 0660990 would be a rotator example http://bwjm.ca/pub_rotators.php

These will end up like the 1967 commemoratives, IMO.

I have gotten a lot of these and just passed them on. I'm only looking at serial numbers on these.
