I just posted this dime in the "Days of Mercury dime" thread. I wanted to see what your opinions are on the grade. Would it make VG8 if I got it certified? Thanks for your opinions.

There is too much wear for it to make VG IMO. I think this one is closer to an AG-3.

I doubted a VG grade myself....just wishful thinking.

Yeah, I agree with AG-3 with the rims like that. Nice, well-defined mintmark though.

The obverse will not carry it to G-04. This is a textbook AG-03. But a nice coin, absolutely.
